Cream Stone Launches ‘TUBZ’ – A Premium Packaged Ice Cream Range, Targets National Retail Footprint

by foodpackagingnetwork.com

Cream Stone, the boutique ice cream brand known for introducing the frozen stone concept to India, has announced the launch of its new line of premium packaged ice creams—Cream Stone TUBZ. This latest innovation is aimed at bringing the brand’s signature indulgence and artisanal touch into the comfort of customers’ homes.

Over the years, Cream Stone has carved a niche for itself with a loyal customer base that swears by its iconic creations like ‘Nut Overload’ and ‘Willy Wonka’. With TUBZ, the brand enters the take-home dessert space, offering its beloved flavours in a convenient, ready-to-enjoy format. Each tub is crafted with precision, reflecting Cream Stone’s commitment to quality, backed by global R&D capabilities and rigorous quality control.

Commenting on the launch, Mr. Sheetal Patil, CEO of Cream Stone, said that the brand has always strived to make ice cream an experience—one that’s rich, joyful, and luxurious. TUBZ, he noted, is an extension of that vision, designed to bring moments of delight into everyday life. Whether for a celebration or a quiet indulgence, the new range promises to deliver happiness with every scoop.

Currently available at all Cream Stone outlets in Hyderabad and through Swiggy Instamart, TUBZ marks the brand’s official entry into the premium packaged segment. The initial rollout will focus on Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, with plans underway to expand across major metros and tier-II cities in the near future. Mr. Patil revealed that the goal is to establish a strong presence in the Telugu states within a year before scaling operations pan-India. With thoughtfully designed, D2C-ready packaging, the brand also hints at potential e-commerce strategies in the pipeline.

The timing of this move aligns with changing consumer behaviours. According to the Indian Ice Cream Manufacturers Association (IICMA), India’s ice cream market is growing at a CAGR of 10%, with a significant uptick in at-home consumption since the pandemic. Cream Stone’s family-friendly packs respond to this trend, making premium indulgence more accessible to households.

TUBZ is launching with twelve indulgent flavours, including standouts like Jamaican Almond Fudge, Double Chocolate, Belgium Choco Fudge, Mango Jamun, and Raspberry Panna Cotta. The ice creams are available in both 600 ml family packs and 100 ml mini tubs, catering to every kind of ice cream lover—from solo snackers to families looking to share a sweet treat.

Founded in 2009 in Hyderabad, Cream Stone quickly became a favourite for its made-to-order frozen desserts, where customers could mix and match a variety of ingredients on a cold stone. Its strong brand identity, aesthetic parlours, and unwavering focus on quality have helped it grow to over 110 outlets across 32 cities in seven states, primarily in South India.

Now, with the launch of TUBZ, Cream Stone is set to transform the at-home ice cream experience, positioning itself as a major contender in India’s growing premium packaged dessert market.
