ROSIND Launches Soyuzprod Vodka in India, Aims to Become One of the Leading Imported Russian Vodka Brands in the Country

Official India partner of the Russian Export Center introduces authentic Russian vodka to tap India’s ₹39,000 crore-plus vodka category.

ROSIND, the official India partner of the Russian Export Center, launches Soyuzprod Vodka in India, marking the entry of an authentic Russian vodka brand into one of the world’s fastest-growing beverage alcohol markets.
For ROSIND, the launch represents a strategic step in its efforts to create new consumer-facing opportunities for Russian brands in India. Beyond facilitating trade, the organisation is focused on building long-term market access through local distribution partnerships, retail presence and sustained brand development.

Led by industry veterans including Oleg Kalaev, who has served as Minister of Finance, Minister of Economy, Deputy Prime Minister and First Deputy Prime Minister in the Government of North Ossetia-Alania, ROSIND is working to expand the presence of Russian products across multiple categories tailored to the Indian market.

“India is one of the most exciting growth markets for premium spirits globally, and consumers today are increasingly seeking authenticity, heritage and quality. Soyuzprod embodies the rich tradition of Russian vodka-making while offering a contemporary experience that resonates with modern consumers. Through this launch, we aim to establish Soyuzprod as a credible and accessible Russian vodka brand for India’s evolving premium spirits landscape and build a meaningful presence in the country’s growing premium vodka segment,” said Bobby Kohli, Executive Director, ROSIND.

The launch comes at a time when India’s vodka category is undergoing a significant transformation. Valued at over ₹39,000 crore (USD 4.7 billion), the Indian vodka market is projected to grow to approximately USD 7.5 billion by 2034, driven by premiumisation, rising disposable incomes, evolving drinking preferences and growing cocktail culture among younger consumers. While domestic brands continue to dominate volumes, premium and imported vodkas are increasingly gaining traction as consumers seek authenticity, provenance and global drinking experiences.
The launch also reflects the strengthening trade relationship between India and Russia. Russian spirits exports to India have witnessed robust growth in recent years, with vodka emerging as a key driver of this expansion. Against this backdrop, Soyuzprod aims to bring an authentic expression of Russian vodka craftsmanship to Indian consumers while building a strong presence in the country’s evolving premium spirits landscape.

Soyuzprod Export draws upon Russia’s rich vodka-making heritage while embracing modern production standards. Produced at the historic Salut Distillery, whose roots date back to 1884, the vodka is crafted using carefully selected grains, Lux-grade spirit and pure glacial water, resulting in a smooth and refined drinking experience. It is presented in a distinctive clear-glass bottle with clean label architecture, metallic detailing and a prominent crest emblem that reflects its Russian heritage.

Available across India and competitively priced from INR 1000/-, Soyuzprod aims to make authentic Russian vodka more accessible to Indian consumers while advancing ROSIND’s vision of creating sustainable pathways for Russian consumer brands in India.
