Pioneering beer and beverage packaging for tomorrow: Sidel’s solutions at BrauBeviale

Sidel will be showcasing its complete collection of turnkey packaging lines at Booth 223, Hall 7A for beer and beverage industries at BrauBeviale, 26 – 28 November in Nuremberg, Germany.

“We know beer and beverage manufacturers need futureproof packaging that aligns with consumer trends, industry needs, and evolving regulations. Our experts are here to help ensure a high-quality product and efficient processing line,” says Guillaume Rolland, VP Sales Beverage for Europe and Central Asia at Sidel.

Futureproof: returnable and refillable

The growing environmental impact of packaging and legislative reuse targets are driving demand for returnable glass bottles (RGB) and refillable PET (RefPET) solutions, both of which significantly reduce the use of primary raw materials while ensuring product safety.

Sidel’s customised solutions are designed to enhance profitability and sustainability across the entire lifecycle of beverages in can, glass, and PET. With advanced turnkey packaging solutions, Sidel is well-positioned to lead the way towards a more sustainable future by offering robust bottle reuse capabilities for glass and PET applications.

Visitors can explore Sidel’s customised returnable glass bottling and refillable PET packaging lines, designed to enhance consumer experience through secure hygiene, high-performance washing, and careful bottle handling while ensuring strong ROI (Return on Investment) through high efficiency, low consumption, and sustainable digital solutions.

“Sidel’s solutions help manufacturers enhance the use of returnable and refillable packaging, ensuring quality and safety while aligning with the EU’s circular packaging agenda,” adds Guillaume Rolland.

New generation of bottle washer – do more with less

Sidel will also showcase its innovative bottle washer, ideal for returnable glass and refillable PET bottles. This solution delivers top-tier performance in bottle washing while significantly reducing consumption costs.

The new bottle washer utilises both chemicals and ultrasound technology, boosting mechanical effectiveness while lowering the temperature from 75°C to 65°C for improved performance. It efficiently cleans both interior and exterior surfaces, removing caustic-resistant dirt, and is competitive and sustainable by reducing water, steam, and caustic soda consumption.

This advanced technology is also cost-effective by increasing production rates by up to 15 percent1. Its footprint is reduced up to 20%, while it requires less maintenance and reduced level of cleaning.
