FPS Food Process Solutions (“FPS”), a global leader in turn-key food processing solutions, officially opened its Asia Pacific Headquarters as part of an integrated strategy to increase global manufacturing capabilities. Located in Zhongshan, Guangdong, China, the 463,000 sq ft (43,000m²) facility will service the Asia Pacific region.
“To stay competitive in this market, we need to look at increasing our manufacturing capability while decreasing costs for customers,” says Jeffrey Chang, President, FPS Food Process Solutions Corp. Continues Chang, “The new Asia Pacific Headquarters will help us to do that – utilizing our engineering knowhow and design theories, we aim to grow our footprint, focusing on China’s growing food processing market and potential growth opportunities in Asia.”
Manufacturing continues to lead in North America (Canada/USA), where the majority of customers coming from the US are driving the need for food process equipment production. Expectations to expand Europe and Latin America is in the works, creating a pipeline of customer targets with both domestic and global reach. With diversification a key driving point for the company, a long-term forward-thinking strategy is a must.
